This quilt set has a combination of colors in it that I adore. They show exactly what they are as they look online. It's made like the old fashioned quilts it took grandmom months to sew. Nice tight stitching and close together. It's sturdy, and yet soft as butter to feel against my skin. Puts me right to sleep. It's made larger than the normal sizes you get when you order bedding, so it covers all the sheets on both sides of the bed, with room to even roll over and not steal the entire quilt from my husband. I didn't have to order a size up. Just like the ad says you don't. It's actually warm enough for winter, or you can add a separate blanket underneath if it gets real, real cold. It's nice in warmer months too. Especially when you have air conditioning on. I would recommend this quilt to everyone who loves quilts. It gives my bedroom that warm, cozy feeling every day. The pricing is very reasonable too, for such quality. It also came with pillows. Now that doesn't happen with most quilt sets under $100. There's no dust ruffle for it, but I use one I bought separately that matches perfectly. Having a quilt on the bed is so simple to make it every day too. It's lots easier on my back. I wouldn't give up this quilt for anything. I love it !! It even hides minor dirt so you don't need to wash it too often. Though I like to give it a gentle wash now n' then and I like to use those scent beads in the machine when I do. Makes my bedding smell wonderful for weeks and weeks.
