"I love this (these) chair(s). I purchased 2. I originally was just going to go with 1 but once I put them in my bedroom and sat in them for a while, I knew I needed both. Of course the seat is firm, like mostly all chairs are when you first purchase it. But it doesn't take long to lighten up and get comfortable. The flowers are real embroidery and it is a heavy gray twill fabric. Very strong. The backs are not tall so if you sit straight up you won't be able to rest your head but if you slide down a little to rest your feet on an Ottoman you will be able to rest your head as well. I do it all the time. I'm 5'8". Size large in clothes. I've had them for about 4 months now. Seat width Inside arms is 19" (inches). It is like the width of a parson chair. This may be too narrow for some. The width part just past the arms is 26". Hope this helps"
