We ordered this flush mount for the front entry area of our home and it looks fantastic, ordered the polished chrome finish and it is very shiny. Lighting fixture is packaged properly, arrived with all pieces intact and delivered quickly. Directions to install are OK (directions provided online as well), they could be more detailed but for never installing a flush mount light fixture before I was able to understand it and accomplish the task. Now to the installation - here is where you are going to spend the most time trying to mount the fixture to the ceiling. This is a flush mount fixture, meaning obviously the fixture is flush to the ceiling. So when you're trying to line up the fixture to the screw holes in the bracket the problem is you cannot see the screws (since the fixture will be in the way) and you're pretty much just guessing and trying to line these two holes up. Good luck with that, it took my husband and I over an hour and a half trying to line up the screws with the holes. Once we got them in it was like we had won the lottery... So you finally get the fixture mounted to the ceiling and then you have to unpackage 50 or so hanging crystal threads and hang them individually inside the fixture. Obviously do not do this with the light on as the bulbs get very hot quickly. Hanging the threads will take at least another 30 minutes or so. Also if you ordered the chrome version make sure you wipe off your fingerprints etc from the fixture before hanging the crystals. Once installation is FINALLY complete step back and enjoy. I also like that with these bulbs it allows for the fixture to be dimmable. The bulbs are naturally very bright (but light is filtered by the crystals and fixture design), but it looks even better when dimmed as it gives off a cozier feel as well.
