I absolutely love this TV stand for the functionality. It seemed like it was a little bit of a headache for my dad to assemble so if you're a single lady like myself I would NOT do it by yourself. You are going to need people to hold shelves in place while you attach other pieces and you'll need help getting the shelves to line up with the holes, just things like that. My dad did the grunt work and my mom and I helped him when he needed us to hold something up and what not. We got it done in about 45 minutes. The pictures and dimensions are accurate. I'm so glad I found a white TV stand that was within my budget that holds my 55" TV easily.
